Little League Clinic Day Sunday 4/28/2024

Spice Fastpitch is a strong supporter of Little League in the Seattle area. Many Spice coaches and players are involved with Little League districts and teams and seek to help with growing the local softball community through participation and skill development.

Spice Fastpitch is holding a free softball skills clinic led by Spice coaches and players from the 16U/18U teams. It is open to players of all abilities and ages 8-12 years old.

Space limited to first 50 players to register - we'll maintain a wait-list after 50.

When - Sunday, 4/28 from 8am - 11am
Where - University of Washington Recreation Field #3 (by the golf range) - outdoors
Coaches - Spice coaches and players
Who can attend - softball players of all abilities ages 8 - 12 years old
Cost - Free
Schedule (approximate)
- 8:00 - 8:15 - check-in
- 8:15 - 8:45 - warm up activities and group organization
- 8:45 - 10:30 - group rotations through 5 skill stations, with water/snack breaks
- * 10:15 - 10:50 - pitchers & catchers skill work (* for those signed up as pitcher/catchers)
- 10:30 - 11:00 - fun activities, prizes, wrap-up (pitchers and catchers join for the finale)

What you need to bring

Water and nut-free snack
Fielding Glove
Fielding Mask
Bat
Batting Helmet
Turf shoes, molded cleats or good athletic shoe for turf field
Softball and weather appropriate clothing
Catchers - bring your catching gear if you have some

Hitting nets and tees
Other skill station equipment
First aid kit
